Take three recent U.C.L.A. architecture school graduates with beards, brains and a hefty dose of design savvy and put them together with lumber, tools and a great space in L.A.’s Highland Park neighborhood and you get Knowhow Shop. The cooperative shop — think Pop’s wood shop rather than pop-up shop — has only been open since January and business is booming. After working with several local architecture firms, Joshua Howell, Justin Rice and Kagan Taylor decided to strike out on their own. Read more…
